Today, Jyothi miss, Sucharitha miss and Shubha miss took us to an ice factory near . B.C road. I thought that the ice factory would be very big but it was so small and it looked like a house. There were many machines inside the factory. The first machine that I saw was called the ice plant. There were many pipes also. The floors of the second room were made of wood. Then I saw a man taking a long stick and he was pulling out the wooden tiles. Inside those were huge containers. It was filled with cold water. There was a total of 506 containers. I saw 2 men taking out the containers with some machine and keeping it in another place. Then, they took the frozen ones and took the ice out. After that, they took the huge blocks of ice to another room and crushed it into pieces. There was a machine  for that. Then, we saw another big cylindrical  container filled with ice. My teachers had taken me to a branch of Canara Bank as part of field trip.  I learned a lot of new things about banking from those nice uncles in Canara Bank.  Since then I have been telling my dad to open an account for me also in Canara Bank. Today he took me to the Bank. But not to Canara Bank, but to ICICI Bank, St. Agnes Branch.  He said my mom has got an account in that branch, and therefore we would open an account there. The aunty in the bank filled up account opening form for me and collected my photo and documents. I also gave her Rs 5000 as initial deposit. After sometime she gave me my account number and a cheque book. She said I would get my ATM card and passbook after 5 days. I am so happy that I have a bank account now.

Didn't blog for so long... and I couldn't update about the happiest things in life.. Most importantly, about my cute brother. He was born on 26th June 2014. He was born in the Yenepoya Specialty hospital. I had gone to school that day. When I came back from school, my father told me that I got a brother.I was very happy to know this. We both went to see him. My grandmother was also there. When I saw my brother, I was surprised because he was so small... Now he is three months old. I'm waiting to see when he would grow enough to talk to me and run around..

It's hectic, these days you know... Because I am at Kannur and I'm fully utilizing my time, playing with Aishu, Kuttoos and Vaibhu !  That's the reason I could write the new words in the blog. Now, today's new words are 1. Prolific - intellectually productive.     Recently, I learnt that my mom used to be a prolific poet during her schooldays. 2. Pithy - Concise and full of meaning.     My mom was surprised at the pithy comment of Mercy miss on my performance. 3. Devoid - entirely lacking or free from.     The serial was devoid of any wit or humour. Okay.. Bye.. Goodnight.

I have decided to learn three new words everyday during my summer vacation. 1. Falter - speak haltingly The speaker faltered when he saw his opponent enter the room. 2 . Apathetic - Show little or no emotion or animation . The reaction among voters has been apathetic or downright hostile. 3 . Inherent - In the nature of something not readily apparent. There was an inherent weakness in the design.

It's quite long from the time I blogged last. In did not blog at all in the entire 2013. A lot of things happened during 2013. The best one, I would say, was my birthday gift - an Apple iPad mini, on which I am typing now...
