New words

Hello everyone, I  have thought of writing 5 new words everyday. So today's words are- Frippery- Unneccessary, showy decoration. Usage- She wore a dress with golden frippery. Discordant- Harsh or unpleasant in sound Usage-The band always produces discordant music that no one wants to hear. Taciturn- Uncommunicative in speech Usage- The taciturn woman refused to utter a word during the court hearing, so the lawyer had to talk  on her behalf. Tangible- Perceptible by touch Usage- Some people enjoy tangible things, while others would rather spend time with friends or phone calls. Remonstrance- Protest Usage-  The lawyer  made a huge mistake when he decided to remonstrate with the judge's decision.

Holiday

Woohoo!!! Holidays have started and I'm really very happy. I finally have time to paint my nails, practice keyboard etc. There is a good news too- Cony sir has told us about the Annual day,  and he told us that we would have to start practicing early, and I am really excited for it. I have decided to make a mix of songs, I  have only one minute and so I have to practice really well. The songs which I am going to play are- Fur Elise,  Mere rashke qamar, despacito, shape ofyou, socha hai, toota jo kabhi tara and aaluma doluma. It really is very diffiicult  to adjust all this in just one minute. But I'm really happy I got to play for the Annual Day. I am really looking forward to it.

Celebrated Teacher's Day

Today we all celebrated the Teachers's day in our school.  We all have been looking forward to this day with a lot of preparations and with a lot of enthusiasm, as this is one day that we get to express our gratitude towards the teachers and is an opportunity for us to exhibit our talents to entertain them. The programme was hoisted by the 10th grade. It started with song by the choir group consisting of grades IV to IX.  Then, there was a skit by Grade V.  Then we had our dance, i.e. of our class, VIIIth.  We danced for the songs 'disco disco', 'diamonds' and 'ding dang'.  We all enjoyed a lot.  However, the dance turned out to be a flop show, though the teachers seem to have enjoyed it.
