Happy Teacher’s Day!!!

Today was Teacher’s Day. In our school, when the celebration was going on, the students of class 10 were allotted different classes. I had given my name for being a student teacher, and I was allotted class 2A6. We were supposed to attend classes in pairs.I was very happy with the class but not with my partner. My partner was Charmy, my cIassmate. It was a wonderful experience being with the little children.I taught them mathematics and my partner taught them EVS.All of us enjoyed each other’s company. When I was teaching mathematics, a little girl from the first bench came to me and gave me a sheet of paper in which it was written Happy Teacher’s Day. I was touched, as I had not expected anything like that. We went there for about two and half periods. They also sang a lot. Some of the boys were a bit hard to manage, but it was really good being with all of them. While doing mathematics, I taught them subtraction and multiplication and gave them sums to do.While teaching, I realised t...

Summer Vacations😎

It’s been a long time since I wrote. Half of my summer holidays are over, and I have had a lot of homework to do. We had got homework for all subjects, and I haven’t finished it yet. We were back in Kannur after one whole year. Also, we celebrated Vishu with a lot of crackers and sweets. The four of us, Aisu, Kuttu, Vicky and myself, made a lot of TikTok videos too. Our whole family went for three of the latest Malayalam movies, Madhura Raja, Mera Maan Shaji, and Oru Yamanadan Premakatha back to back. We had already watched Lucifer in Hyderabad. By the end of April, we had  watched all the latest Malayalam movies except Adhiran. We also got a lot of mangoes from Thalassery and Kannapuram. All of us spent a lot of time eating delicious mangoes, both ripe and raw. The best thing I like about summer is delicious mangoes.

SARKAAAAAR!!

I finally fulfilled my wish.... I went for the First Day First Show of Sarkar and I am sooooo haaaaaappy. Some people from outside the theatre itself started screaming “Vijay garu Jai Jai!!”. When the movie started, the theatre was full, and people bursted party poppers during Thalapathy’s entry. It was actually one of the best cinematic experience I had ever had.

Birla Mandir- An adventure

Today, we had planned to visit a popular place of Hyderabad- Birla Mandir. We were a bit late to get out of the house. When we reached near the place, we came to know that there were many other places to visit in that area, such as the Birla museum and planetarium. That sounded very interesting. We were about to reach there, and we were on a slope. We had just stopped to allow the vehicles to pass, and another car- Santro, came at a high speed down the slope, and dashed our car.

Dandiya Night!!!!

We had the Navaratri celebrations today. It started at around 7pm in the cricket ground of SMR Vinay  City and ended at 10:30pm. I had not participated in anything. It was really nice to see many people dance, and there were also many stalls outside. There was pani puri, toystalls, cotton candy, milkshakes, sweet corn, popcorn, buffet, and a lot of exciting stuff. There were non-stop performances, but there was this thing which I noticed, that two songs were repeated a lot. One of them was ‘Kamariya’ from the latest movie ‘Love Yatri’ releasing on the 12th of October, which was repeated 7 times, and the other one was ‘Nagada Sang’ from ‘Ram Leela’ which was repeated 5 times. But the songs were so nice that listening to them repeatedly was not at all a problem for me. In fact, I just loved the night, even though I didn’t do anything.      The difference between the Elite performances (in Mangalore) and SMR performances is that here we have teachers who teach all t...

Value of Indian Rupee VS US Dollar

The value of one US Dollar in Indian Rupees is 74.42. But it was never the same. In 1947, after independence, the value of a dollar was just a rupee. But as years passed, the value of the value of rupees also increased due to the economic condition and the development of the country. The value of Rupees started increasing when foreign exchanges and trading began.

My New School

Not new anymore, but totally different from The Yenepoya School. The name of my school is Vikas- The Concept School. We found it at the last minute. I had my entrance exam on the same day, and soon after that, my results came out. I had to start going to school from the next week itself. I was really excited, but also worried about all the incomplete work I had, as I had missed school for the first three months after 9th standard started. So, the first day I was waiting for the bus, and then when I got inside, I came to know that everyone had allotted seats. That felt strange. Standing was not allowed in school buses. Luckily, I got a seat. I reached my school, and with great difficulty, found my class. I had worn colour dress to school for the first two weeks as I hadn’t gotten my uniform. So, on the first day, the first friend I made was Siri. And the unit tests were going on, which, here is known as cycle tests. Later, I met a lot of new people, who later became friends, but I found...
