'I'll Walk Alone..'

Image
'I'll Walk Alone' is a thriller book written by Mary Higgins Clark, and has recently become one of my favourites and also one of the best booksa I have ever read. It's about a woman named Alexandra Moreland, whose son Matthew was kidnapped from the Central Park at the age of two. Three years later, on Matthew's fifth birthday, photos of Alexandra kidnapping her own child. Her bank accounts have been drained, and she begins to suspect that someone is trying to steal her identity. This one’s definitely a must-read..

Board Results

The class 10 board results were supposed to come out today by 10 AM, but it got delayed, as the site kept on getting crashed. I got my results through an sms. I cannot exactly express how excited or nervous I was to face the results and all the calls I would get. So exactly at 12, I tried to open the site, but some or the other error kept occurring. i got 447/500, and Sakshi got 448/500. PJ got the message a bit late, and she got 446/500. What a coincidence, isn't it? I got a lot of calls today from all our relatives and friends. There was also a surprise party today, which was totally unexpected. Well, surprises are meant to be unexpected.A cake was cut which said "Congrats Paru", along with Dominoes and puffs. I'm not really satisfied with my marks, but whatever's done is done. I should better luck next time!

The first thing to focus on while drawing is the amount of time you take to finish a piece, with respect to its size. Quality comes next. The way you portray your piece, whether you shade, colour, ink or sketch it. One more thing I have acquainted myself with is the amount of patience through this period. I have tried shading, dotted art and sketching, and so far, I really think I’ve been getting better bit by bit. The art of drawing is something that I had started during the beginning of class 10, and the progress in this one year is clearly visible. I still remember the day when I was drawing in my class during break time, and one of my friends just passed by, took a glance into my book and walked away calling me an ‘artist’. And d...
