My Journey through Art..

During this “lockdown”, I’m glad to say that I’ve developed a new habit of drawing everyday. Well, I haven’t been able to complete all my sketches though, but that itself has taught me something- The quality of the art doesn’t matter, the quantity does. The first thing to focus on while drawing is the amount of time you take to finish a piece, with respect to its size. Quality comes next. The way you portray your piece, whether you shade, colour, ink or sketch it.
One more thing I have acquainted myself with is the amount of patience through this period. I have tried shading, dotted art and sketching, and so far, I really think I’ve been getting better bit by bit.
The art of drawing is something that I had started during the beginning of class 10, and the progress in this one year is clearly visible. I still remember the day when I was drawing in my class during break time, and one of my friends just passed by, took a glance into my book and walked away calling me an ‘artist’. And during that week itself, most of my classmates had seen my work and I got recognised in mine, as well as few of the other classes as an ‘artist’. And that made me quite happy.
All I have to do now is make myself better at art in every way I can.
