Ilayathalapathy Vijay....

Image
Vijay...my favourite. I am a BIG fan of him and I love him more than any other actor. He has been my favourite since 2008, and the first movie I had seen of Vijay was Vettaikaran, featuring Vijay and Anushka Shetty. I couldn't understand Tamil at first, but then I started watching and understanding cartoons and movies. Vijay is totally different in real life. He was also asked in an interview about his transformation, but I couldn't watch the whole video, so I couldn't see what he answered to that. His latest movie, Mersal, has gained much more than Bahubali 2 in the box office collection.

Vicky's First Field Trip

Today was my Brother's first field trip from school to the Central kitchen and Laundry. It was the first time he travelled in the school bus. I was worried, but also very excited for him. After coming back from school, he told us that he had seen big washing machines ther. He also said that he had seen people make big and small dosas. He looked very excited while explaining it to me, so I was sure he enjoyed a  lot. I was happy for him. We talked  a lot about him and his  best friend in class, Kevin.

New words

Hello everyone, I  have thought of writing 5 new words everyday. So today's words are- Frippery- Unneccessary, showy decoration. Usage- She wore a dress with golden frippery. Discordant- Harsh or unpleasant in sound Usage-The band always produces discordant music that no one wants to hear. Taciturn- Uncommunicative in speech Usage- The taciturn woman refused to utter a word during the court hearing, so the lawyer had to talk  on her behalf. Tangible- Perceptible by touch Usage- Some people enjoy tangible things, while others would rather spend time with friends or phone calls. Remonstrance- Protest Usage-  The lawyer  made a huge mistake when he decided to remonstrate with the judge's decision.

Holiday

Woohoo!!! Holidays have started and I'm really very happy. I finally have time to paint my nails, practice keyboard etc. There is a good news too- Cony sir has told us about the Annual day,  and he told us that we would have to start practicing early, and I am really excited for it. I have decided to make a mix of songs, I  have only one minute and so I have to practice really well. The songs which I am going to play are- Fur Elise,  Mere rashke qamar, despacito, shape ofyou, socha hai, toota jo kabhi tara and aaluma doluma. It really is very diffiicult  to adjust all this in just one minute. But I'm really happy I got to play for the Annual Day. I am really looking forward to it.

Celebrated Teacher's Day

Today we all celebrated the Teachers's day in our school.  We all have been looking forward to this day with a lot of preparations and with a lot of enthusiasm, as this is one day that we get to express our gratitude towards the teachers and is an opportunity for us to exhibit our talents to entertain them. The programme was hoisted by the 10th grade. It started with song by the choir group consisting of grades IV to IX.  Then, there was a skit by Grade V.  Then we had our dance, i.e. of our class, VIIIth.  We danced for the songs 'disco disco', 'diamonds' and 'ding dang'.  We all enjoyed a lot.  However, the dance turned out to be a flop show, though the teachers seem to have enjoyed it.

Kadri Park

Liar Liar

This is another book of R L Stine, of the series- The Nightmare Room.            It is about a boy named Ross Arthur, who was an expert in lying and making up nonsense stories. He had got used to lying and this became a big problem for him. Actually, he is very lucky, because his dad, Garrison Arthur is a producer in the film industry. They also have a big house with a large swimming pool and a tennis court. He is indeed a lucky boy.             Then, there comes a day when he meets his exact twin inside the pool in his friend Max's pool party. Ross reads his lips, and he says, "Go away.". When he tells his mother about this, she felt that he was just making up another story. No one believed him. A few days later, he met the same boy- his twin, and he told him that he has come to a parallel world because of his fake stories. He was called an Intruder by the other Ross and was told that he would die in a few days. To stop thi...

Field Trip- College of Fisheries

When it was informed to us that we would have a field trip on Friday, we were so happy because this was our first trip this year. We were guided by Anita miss, Reshma miss, and Jyothi miss. As the College of Fisheries was close to our school, we did not have to take any snacks. We went there in the first period and reached back at the end of the first period. We had enjoyed a lot, and this was the best field trip ever. At first we thought that we were going there just to see or learn something. But we were wrong. It was completely different from our thoughts. We had to only plant paddy. 'Plant' is not the right word, but I don't know what it is actually called. We were fully covered in mud when we returned. Navya and I had taken a selfie and a photo with Jyothi miss. It was a really wonderful experience and the best field trip ever.

Field Trip- Old Age Home

We had one more field trip today. And that was our second field trip this year. We had gone to the same orphanage in grade 6. We had brought fruits and biscuits for them. It was very nice, as we met the same sweet people we had met last time. Some of them were new for us. We also sang songs for them. Most of those people had recognized us. we had come with Reshma miss and Sapna miss. We also sang birthday songs for two of them present in there. They were very friendly sweet and friendly. We enjoyed a lot visiting them for the second time. I hope we get the chance to visit them again.

Boring Sunday

I hate most of the Sundays, when we just stay at home and do nothing at all. Today also was 'One of Those days.' Also, I have two class tests tomorrow, for which I have finished studying, but that's not the only problem.I also have to read the news for tomorrow's assembly, and I hate it, because always I have to read the news headlines. I am totally fed up of it. I don't even get time to practice it properly. It is something I hate the most.

The Confession

This is the first time I am writing a summary of a book in my blog. The book is- The Confession, by R.L Stine. It is one of the best books I have ever read. It is filled with suspense, but the story is very interesting. So, the story starts like this-                     Al was dead. He was murdered. That was what was the first page meant. The beginning of the story was about the main character Julie.                      Julie and her friends couldn't stand Al. All of them wished he was dead. But that doesn't  mean anyone would kill him. Until someone made a confession. What would Julie do? Keep it a secret, or reveal it to everyone? This was just a brief introduction of the story. The story goes like this-                     Julie was a teenager. She had her own gang of high school students, but her best friends were ...

BADE DILWALAA.......

Bade Dilwala, Jo khole har tala.. This is my Bro's favourite song from the movie Tees Maar Khan. He dances whenever this song is played and loves listening to it too.

Nashwa

Nashwa is, was, and will be my best friend forever. She is from a family living in Kerala. She lives in a nuclear family with 2 siblings. She is the second child of her family.               The most special thing about Nashwa is that she always wears a smile on her face. She encourages everyone to do things. She is very confident ad filled with enthusiasm. She takes part in all the projects and activities we have. She is the one who motivates us. She does well in her studies and extra curricular activities. She is always joyful and energetic. She never has a dull moment. Also, she finds pleasure in helping everyone. She loves to sing. Whenever I go topsy-turvy over something, she is the one who comes to my rescue. I had learnt about her qualities discreetly. She respects each and every person, and I have never seen her looking at anyone with disdainful eyes. She is a very straight-forward and magnanimous girl. She feels jumpy in front of a crowd of p...

MY GOAL

Success is crucially tied along with accomplishing goals. You can reach success when you achieve your goals. Our goal in life is what makes us different. It distinguishes ourselves with the people around us.Life is incomplete without it. To look forward in life, all you need is a goal.              The Irish professional footballer Stephan A Brennan once said "Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success." I think this quote is true especially when coming up with a plan to be successful in life. Yesterday is the past. Forget it. Think about the present for a future. Destiny is not in our hands.              In my case, since 2-3 years I have been wanting to become a teacher of the subjects Social or English, as these were my favourite subjects. Then, I thought of being a dermatologist, singer or...

Hi 2017...

Image
Happy New Year to everyone! Wanted to begin writing this from the first day of 2017, but somehow missed it. On the New Year eve, we had a get together at KP Chechi's house. There was Saju uncle also. Acha had dropped us in Prakashan uncle's house and went to drop Saju uncle to the airport. Ashwin and Adu were also there. Only 3 families of our Munnar group were remaining- Arvind uncle and Divya Aunty, Rajesh uncle and Shobha Aunty, Mohandas uncle and family. When we came, everyone was playing UNO. So even I joined them. Vicky was not entering the room withou Amma. Later, he came and enjoyed with us. Then we continued our game and it went on for a long time. After that came the time for selfies and photos. It was started by Ashwin. He took out the phone and started taking photos of KP Chechi and me. I continued. We all spent time taking most of the pics of KP Chechi, and her different poses. After all this pagalpan, we started taking group selfies. Then we had our food. T...
