MY GOAL
Success is crucially tied along with accomplishing goals.You can reach success when you achieve your goals. Our goal in life is what makes us different. It distinguishes ourselves with the people around us.Life is incomplete without it. To look forward in life, all you need is a goal.
The Irish professional footballer Stephan A Brennan once said "Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success." I think this quote is true especially when coming up with a plan to be successful in life. Yesterday is the past. Forget it. Think about the present for a future. Destiny is not in our hands.
In my case, since 2-3 years I have been wanting to become a teacher of the subjects Social or English, as these were my favourite subjects. Then, I thought of being a dermatologist, singer or, lawyer. The reason of me wanting to become a dermatologist was that, the way I like to take care of my skin, I would take care of others too. When I thought more about it, it came to my mind that to become a skin specialist, I would have to be a doctor- which I did not want to be. My father gave me the idea of being a lawyer. I felt it was good enough for me. It would just be like a debate in the court. I would be happy giving justice to people. But later, on second thoughts, I thought it would be boring. The last option left was- a singer. It is my hobby, and my interest. I sing only when I am alone. This was something I was really interesting.But I did not want to learn classical music before I started western, so I had to drop that idea too. I wanted to do something interesting. That was when it struck my mind. Why not do something I already do? I love reading. So, why not become an author? I used to write stories, but as i grew up, I discontinued it; maybe because of lack of interest or lack of time?
Becoming an author, I think is a great idea.I, personally would love to read and write books, especially novels. My present favourite authors are Enid Blyton and R L Stine.Their stories are filled with thrill, suspense and adventure. Theirs is the exact types of books I like- with a lots of suspense. If I write a book the way I write my diary, I'm sure it wouldn't take too long to finish it. I feel that I am capable of writing. Besides no worries for the correction of my flaws, thanks to the dictionary.
